About Té

Jewellery shaped by mountains, the ocean and the slow work of nature.

Designed in Zurich. Handmade in small batches by our team of four jewellers in Bulgaria, from recycled sterling silver. Finished in our Kreis 3 atelier and plated with 18k gold in Zug.

Atelier Té was founded in 2017 in Kreis 3, Zurich, where we still design and finish every piece. We make architectural jewellery for everyone: sculptural, quiet and built to last beyond trends.

Our ideas come from the natural world. We look at the ridges and rock of the Swiss Alps, at the patterns of geology and biology, and at the depths of an ocean we have yet to fully discover. We reduce them to their essential lines, forms that feel familiar but slightly otherworldly.

How it's made

We care most about technique and finish, and we keep production small so we can watch every detail.

• Designed in Zurich. Every collection starts in our atelier in Kreis 3.
• Made by hand. Most pieces are made by our team of four jewellers in Bulgaria, from recycled .925 silver, in batches of fewer than ten.
• Chains from Germany. Our chains come from a German chain maker with more than 100 years of experience.
• Finished in Zurich. Every piece comes back to our atelier to be polished, assembled, finished and checked by hand before it reaches you.
• Plated in Zug. Our gold vermeil is plated with 18k gold: 8 microns on rings and bangles, and 3 to 5 microns on earrings. That is several times thicker than the 1.5-micron industry standard, so the gold lasts.

Responsibility

We work with recycled .925 silver. Our chain maker is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (Code of Practices and Chain of Custody). Our packaging and shipping boxes are made from 100% recycled or FSC-certified materials. We produce in small seasonal runs, so nothing is made just to sit in storage.
